Derek Paley is the PI of the ReZoom. He is Director of the Maryland Robotics Center and the Willis H. Young Jr. Professor of Aerospace Engineering Education in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and the Institute for Systems Research at the University of Maryland. He is the founding director of the UMD Collective Dynamics and Control Laboratory, the UMD Autonomous Micro Air Vehicle Team, and the UMD FIRE Autonomous Unmanned Systems Stream.
